Majhi Kanya Bhagyashree Scheme – The State Government of Maharashtra has approved the revised policy of Majhi Kanya Bhagyashree Scheme.According to the policy, families whose annual income is up to Rs 7.5 lakh. Importance of bhagyashree scheme
According to earlier provisions, families below the poverty line (BPL) whose annual income was up to one lakh rupees. Majhi Kanya Bhagyashree was eligible for the scheme. As per the new provisions, girls from families with annual income up to Rs. 7.5 lakh are also eligible under this scheme.
According to new provisions, if the mother or father has done any family planning after the first girl child is born. If adopted or has the operation done, the government will deposit a sum of Rs 50,000 in the bank in the name of the girl child.
In addition, if any parent after the birth of another girl family planning If adopted, an amount of Rs 25,000-25,000 will be deposited in the name of both girls. The beneficiary girl will get interest money twice – once when she reaches the age of 6 and the second installment when she is 12 years old.
When the girl is 18 years of age, the girl will be entitled to receive the full amount provided the girl has completed her studies till the 10th standard and is unmarried. If a person has two girls, then under this scheme Can benefit. But if a third child is born, then both the first born girls will not get the benefit of this scheme.

Majhi Kanya Bhagyashree yojana benefits
The government of Maharashtra has decided to give a new look to the ‘Majhi Kanya Bhagyashree Yojana’. Many changes have been made to the plan. According to the new reform, families with annual income up to seven and a half lakh rupees will also get the benefit.
The benefit of the scheme will be given only to those families who are originally residents of Maharashtra. Till the time the second girl is born, the benefit of the scheme will be given. The family will not be entitled to this scheme when a third girl is born.
The Maharashtra government implemented from April 1, 2016, to increase the birth rate of girls in the state, stop gender testing and increase their education and health status.
According to the plan, after the birth of a girl by the mother or father, after the family planning (sterilization), Rs 50,000 in the name of the girl or sterilization after the birth of another girl is 25000-25000. The bank deposits the bank. Interest can be withdrawn only after the girl’s age is 6 years and 12 years. After completion of 18 years of age, both principal and interest can be withdrawn. Now as per the new reform, it will be mandatory for the girl to be 18 years of age, 10th pass and unmarried to take advantage of the scheme.
Within 1 year of the birth of a girl child or within 6 months of the birth of another girl, it will be mandatory for the mother or father to undergo sterilization only if the benefit of the scheme is entitled.
Under the scheme, a joint account will be opened in a nationalized bank in the name of the beneficiary girl and her mother. Both will also get accident insurance of Rs 1 lakh and an overdraft of Rs 5,000 under it.
